Privacy for the ChatGPT integration

What we process

When you use Receptly in ChatGPT, we receive your selected recipe and optional image, plus language and file information needed to prepare and transfer the import. We also process connection data, including IP addresses and an anonymous identifier when supplied, to protect the service. The connection does not provide access to your full ChatGPT history or existing private Receptly recipes.

Who handles it

The chat platform processes the content you select; cloud hosting, content-delivery, and storage providers handle transfers, website delivery, and temporary storage; your selected image provider supplies the image; the device-platform provider delivers the App Clip and app. These providers may process data in multiple countries under their applicable terms and safeguards.

Links and storage

Anyone with a recipe or image link can access its contents. Providers handling an import link may receive its recipe content. Avoid including sensitive personal information or sharing links unintentionally.

Image access expires after 24 hours. Temporary images are scheduled for deletion after one day; removal may finish later. Copies already downloaded remain.

Pending App Clip imports, including images, are valid locally for up to seven days and cleared when next checked after expiry. You confirm before saving; saved recipes follow the mobile app's normal storage, sync, and deletion rules. Service diagnostic logs are kept for up to seven days.

Your choices and rights

You can omit images, copy a recipe without installing the app, decline to save, or disconnect in ChatGPT. Disconnecting does not erase chats, shared links, or saved recipes; manage those copies where they are stored.

Contact us for access, correction, deletion, an objection, or other privacy requests. You can also request information about the specific recipients of your personal data and the applicable safeguards. For early removal of a temporary image, include its Receptly transfer link. If you are in the EEA, you may also contact your local data protection authority.
